This piece was inspired by Our Endless Tomorrows, my thesis book about two Vietnamese sisters navigating life abroad. It depicts the emotional distance between the sisters, capturing a moment when Em, the younger sibling, becomes consumed by self-doubt. Feeling like a burden, she struggles with the belief that she can never measure up to Hai, her older sister.
